How much Water Should I Drink?
Drink 6–8 glasses of water daily, then add more if you exercise, sweat, drink alcohol, are in hot weather, are sick, pregnant, or breastfeeding. NHS also suggests using urine color as a guide: aim for clear to pale yellow.
Easy daily plan
Morning: 1 glass
With each meal: 1 glass
Between meals: 2–3 glasses
Exercise/hot weather: add extra
Water helps prevent dehydration, which can cause unclear thinking, mood changes, overheating, constipation, and kidney stones.
